Enter the overall width and height of the finished X-leg plus the thickness of each bar, and the calculator works out everything you need to cut a matching pair of bars. You get the total bar length, the angle each bar sits at relative to the floor, the saw miter angle to set on your mitre saw, the crossing angle where the two bars meet in the middle, and the length of the half-lap notch at the crossing so the bars sit flush against each other.
Inputs and outputs both work in either millimeters or imperial units (inches, feet).
